Oaxaca is a city that holds a special place in our hearts. Inti first fell in love with its magic while living there during college, captivated by its rich culture, vibrant community, and incredible food. That love was reignited when we visited last year, and in that moment, we knew there was no better place to celebrate the joining of our paths than in this beautiful city.
Nestled in a valley surrounded by the Sierra Madre mountains, Oaxaca is a place full of art and music, stunning colonial architecture, bustling markets brimming with local artisan crafted goods, and world-renowned cuisine. We can’t wait for you to experience its unique charm with us!
The Guelaguetza Festival
Our trip last year happened to coincide with Mexico’s biggest cultural event, the Guelaguetza Festival. This vibrant indigenous celebration includes daily parades, traditional dance performances, delicious street food, and artisan craft markets. We loved every minute of it and, in that moment, we realized—what better time than during the Guelaguetza, when the streets are already alive with laughter and celebration, to come together and celebrate our love?
